Paul E. McKee has worked in his studio full time since 1997, but really it’s a lifelong inclination. Whenever he learns about a new technology, he tries to think of a way to draw with it. He might have got that from his studies in sculpture, painting, and computer art at TESC in Olympia WA. His brief employment in the recycling industry instilled an ethic of re-use. He worked as a sign painter and graphic artist during a tidal wave of new materials and techniques. The Gage Academy & Pratt Fine Arts in Seattle taught him traditional fine art techniques which he uses to his own ends.
